ISO ACCREDITATION

International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO)

 

     

 

Tropical Forestry Services Ltd has been officially certified as having fulfilled all requirements of the ISO 14001 (Environment), 9001 (Quality) and Australian Standard 4801 (Safety) on the 27th October 2006.

 

ISO 1400:2004 certification is based on the international standards outlined by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). It specifies requirements for an environmental management system to enable an organisation to develop an environmental policy, and establish objectives based on legal and other requirements to which the organisation subscribes.

 

This highlights the company's commitment to considering the environmental consequences of all processes and business practices. The achievement of this award demonstrates that TFS has a sustainable environmental management strategy.

 

Through those identified environmental aspects, programmes and processes are established, implemented, maintained, and measured to:

  • achieve the policy commitments,
  • take action as needed to improve its performance and
  • demonstrate the conformity of the system to the requirements of ISO14001.
