A Grower is an investor in one of Tropical Forestry Services’ Indian Sandalwood Projects. The Grower owns the Sandalwood trees and employs TFS to plant, manage, harvest and sell those trees on the Grower’s behalf. The Grower pays an Establishment Fee to cover costs of propagating, planting and management of the trees in the labour-intensive first year. Growers may also pay on-going fees for the management of the plantation and lease fees for the plot of land on which their trees are planted.
